Welcome to Weyfarers
Leaders in recreational and touring rowing

Weyfarers is the recreational arm of Weybridge Rowing Club. We are one of just a handful of recreational and touring rowing clubs in the UK, formed for and by people who think rowing should be FUN!

  • No time to train 8 days a week?
  • Love rowing, but want to have a life as well?
  • Never tried rowing, but want to have a go?

Then maybe YOU should try recreational rowing!!

Don't get us wrong - we don't just paddle around. We aim to improve our technique and get fit, just like our more competitive friends. But our horizons are wider.....

Never rowed before? No problem! We run learn to row courses in the Spring, Summer and Autumn.  The dates of our 2015 courses are now available.

The next Learn to Row course starts on 15th April and comprises 10 sessions on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.  2 places have just become available for April-  book now

News from Chile!
More news from Annette (24/01/15) "I am surviving my cycling trip so far. (a little more than 600Kms) We are staying in a pueblito called Cerro Castillo where it is possible to communicate. The view of the mountains is absolutely superb. Today, we are trekking to a laguna. We could go on horseback but I don't fancy  seating on a saddle again. Thanks to our German  equipment, no punctures and no injuries." There's a photo on our photo page

The new roof is in place, so hopefully no more leaks!
The blade rack is finished, but we need paving stones.  If anyone has any, please bring them to the club.
